Robert Schiffer Managing Director Indochina Infrastructure Management Mr. Schiffer joined Indochina Capital’s management team in 2012. He was most recently the CEO and Executive Director of the U.S. Vietnam Trade Council. He initiated a climate change program in Vietnam beginning in 2008 and has partnered with the Environmental Defense Fund, Business for Social Responsibility and the Clinton Foundation in the U.S. Vietnam Trade Council Climate Change Program. He has distinguished credentials that range from Wall Street to political appointments, including assignments under two White House Administrations and a New York Governor. He is known as one of Washington\'s leading experts on Vietnam’s commercial and political issues. His longstanding involvement in Vietnam includes an appointment from 1998 to 2001 as Senior Advisor to U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam Pete Peterson. As the Ambassador\'s top political envoy on business matters, he developed new strategies to promote U.S.-Vietnam business and finance, labor standards, and international trade. He is credited for his pivotal role in the successful negotiation of the U.S.-Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement and the OPIC-Vietnam Bilateral Investment Agreement. His Wall Street experience from 1981-1992 includes ranking positions with Drexel Burnham (Managing Director of the East Coast Public Finance Group), L.F Rothschild (Managing Director), A.G. Becker (Senior Vice President – firm later known as Becker Paribas) and Bear Stearns and Company (Vice President). His civic activities have included serving as Chairman of the New York State Real Estate Advisory Board to the Governor and Chairman of the Committee for Housing New York. |

Kenny Low Chief Investment Officer Indochina Infrastructure Management Mr. Low joined Indochina Capital’s infrastructure division in 2012 as its Chief Investment Officer. He has more than 20 years of experience spanning five continents in the development and financing of infrastructure projects in the power, telecommunications and transportation sectors. Prior to joining the firm, he was the Deputy Managing Director of VinaCapital’s infrastructure division, where he co-managed a US$200 million private equity fund focused on infrastructure investments in Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos. Between 2004-2010, he was with PSA International, the world’s largest container terminal operator based in Singapore. As the Senior Manager of Global Business Development, he successfully spearheaded PSA’s first port project in Vietnam in 2010 and was subsequently appointed Vice-Chairman of the joint venture company. In addition, he has held director level finance roles with Edison Mission Energy in United States and Asia, where he successfully raised over US$2 billion in financing for the company’s acquisition of electricity assets in Victoria and South Australia. He holds a M.B.A. (Honors) from the Sid Craig School of Business, California State University, Fresno. He is fluent in Chinese, Bahasa Malaysia/Bahasa Indonesia, and has basic understanding of Arabic and Spanish. |

Tien Nguyen Vice President Indochina Infrastructure Management Mr. Nguyen joined Indochina Capital’s infrastructure team in 2011. He has nearly ten years of experience in Vietnam’s finance and investment industry and was formerly a Senior Advisor at Openasia Consulting, a Vietnam-focused investment bank, where he specialized in M&A transactions and market entry strategies for multinational corporations in a wide-range of sectors, including infrastructure, financial services, real estate, retail, IT and oil & gas. Between 2007-2009, he was an Investment Associate for VinaCapital’s US$400 million Vietnam Infrastructure Fund, where he played a significant role in investing and managing a portfolio of more than 20 transactions in the power, environmental services, transportation and telecommunication sectors. His Vietnam-related investment experiences cover a broad range of specialties, including greenfield development, private equity transactions, corporate bond and public capital markets. Mr. Nguyen holds a M.S. of Accounting and Finance from the Macquarie University in Sydney and a B.S. in Economics from the Ho Chi Minh City Economics University. |
