| John Blanco Director Indochina Land Management John's career in the hospitality industry spans over 20 years. His most recent position was general manager of The Nam Hai, Hoi An, the flagship property of Indochina Land's leisure portfolio. This was preceded by the opening of the Bristol Buenaventura in Panama, a Leading Hotel of the World and a role as Managing Director of The Landmark Hotels Group, based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Having worked principally with Ritz-Carlton, John has held executive management positions in such exotic locales as Barcelona, Portugal, Singapore, Cancun, Miami and Bali. He has also worked in various US locales like Georgia, Virginia and Aspen. His experience with luxury independent properties includes his appointment as hotel manager of the five star, luxury suite resort, The Residence, in Mauritius and as manager of the luxury boutique Esperanza Resort in Los Cabos, Mexico. He also previously worked in Hawaii at The Four Seasons Resort Wailea. John received a Hotel and Restaurant Management Diploma from the Centre International de Glion in Switzerland. He is fluent in English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, German and Italian. |
